Rita Ora made an electrifying appearance on the streets of New York. The British actress grabbed everyone’s attention in a red faux leather jacket and matching shorts as she stepped out for lunch at a restaurant with her director husband Taika Waititi on Friday.
The 33-year-old singer stunned in her red outfit, which she paired with a black top, silk leotard and black knee-high boots.
With tousled hair and black sunglasses, Rita captured the gaze of passers-by.

Rita Ora at the Met Gala
Rita will attend the famous Met Gala on May 6, where this year’s theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”.
Actress Zendaya and the Puerto Rican prince of Latin rap Bad Bunny are among the co-chairs of the upcoming Met Gala, an important New York social event where stars parade in extravagant outfits, the Metropolitan Museum announced.
The two stars will team up with Jennifer Lopez and the Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, famous for the role of Thor in the Marvel Universe.
As every year, they will accompany the “high priestess” of the event and fashion, the editor-in-chief of “Vogue” magazine, Anna Wintour, on the steps of the “Met”.
Both a celebrity parade and a philanthropic event, the Met Gala is the main source of funding for the museum’s fashion department (The Costume Institute).
The Metropolitan Museum points out that “to date, and since Met Administrator Anna Wintour took over, the gala has raised $223.5 million for The Costume Institute.”
Every year, the event takes place on the first Monday of May and accompanies the opening of the great exhibition of “The Costume Institute”, dedicated in 2024 to the “sleeping beauties” of the museum, in other words to those older and more fragile pieces of clothing in the collection to.
This “dress code” allows the great fashion designers to put their imagination to work for the outfits worn by the stars, every year climbing the steps of the Met being a good opportunity for a contest of clothing extravagance.
