Discussions about how the intersection of Bărc I Street and Bărc II Street in Cluj-Napoca is signaled began a long time ago, as it is not clear which vehicle has priority. On the traffic groups in Cluj, drivers have reported several times the situation that could lead to many accidents and the impossibility of determining the culprit in the event of an accident. It was necessary for a driver from Cluj to contact the Cluj County Police Inspectorate, so that the authorities could also note the improper signaling.

The resident of Cluj addressed the police to draw their attention to the fact that the intersection is incorrectly signposted

Since no one took any action, a resident of Cluj contacted IPJ Cluj and received the answer that, indeed, the reported situation is confirmed and the intersection is signaled improperly. Therefore, the police further requested the road administrator to regulate the intersection accordingly.

“Regarding your question, which of the two vehicles arriving at the intersection at the same time, traveling from Bărc I and Bărc II streets has priority, we inform you of the following:

According to the checks carried out, the traffic police workers found that the road signs installed at the entrance to the intersection are inadequate, are not in full accordance with the road design and do not provide sufficient information to the traffic participants regarding the legal conduct to follow, for which we requested the administrator the public road, to regulate the intersection according to the standards in force”, says the answer provided by IPJ Cluj.
