The City Hall of Mihai Eminescu Commune informs you that, in accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Prefect of Botosani County no. 200/19.03.2024 and of HCL no. 49/26.03.2024 APRIL IS THE MONTH OF CLEANING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TERRITORY OF BOTOSANI COUNTY

we inform the inhabitants of the commune that they have a permanent obligation to ensure good management and to keep clean.

According to the Order of the Prefect, Citizens have the duty to ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of their own homes and outbuildings, their yards and their enclosures, respecting the measures established by the City Hall of the Mihai Eminescu Municipality for ensuring public hygiene and cleanliness in the localities as well as protecting the environment.

For this purpose, citizens have the following obligations:

  • To ensure, according to the law, the maintenance and repair works of the houses and outbuildings, the sanitation of the courtyards and their enclosures, the performance of specific spring works for the maintenance of the green spaces inside the property and in front of it;
  • To maintain the cleanliness of the sidewalks, the carriageway of the street near the house, the yard and the garden;
  • To deposit household waste and recyclables according to the Regulation imposed by the Municipality of the commune, approved by its Local Council;
  • To keep the public facilities in the parks as well as the facilities located on the streets (display boards, indicators, etc.) in a usable condition;
  • To compost the waste resulting from the cleaning and maintenance of the green areas of the household in one’s own garden and/or in the individual composting units and to use the obtained compost as an amendment for one’s own lands;
  • Not to set fire to vegetable remains;
  • Not to abandon and not to store waste outside the places intended for this purpose.

Citizens who use public transport means (buses, minibuses) are obliged to keep the stations clean and to behave in a civilized manner throughout the journey.

The above-mentioned obligations are also provided in Regulation regarding the establishment of measures for the management of Mihai Eminescu commune, approved by HCL no. 26/12/03/2018.

By informing the residents of their obligations, the town hall seeks their mobilization and active involvement in order to maintain a pleasant and well-kept aspect of the Mihai Eminescu commune.

  1. The City Hall of Mihai Eminescu Commune informs, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation regarding the establishment of measures for the management of the Mihai Eminescu commune, approved by H.CL no 26/12.03.2018non-cleaning or opposition to the owners to clean trees or green spaces that block access to the public domain (roads) or that prevent the efficient distribution of light from lamps for street lighting, is sanctioned with a fine between 500-1,500 lei for individuals and 1,000 -2,500 lei for legal entities.

Therefore, we suggest to the inhabitants of the commune to proceed with the cleaning of the trees that block the access to the public domain (roads) or that prevent the efficient distribution of light from the lamps for public lighting.

We also bring to your attention that the permanent non-maintenance of the cleaning of the rainwater drainage ditches in front of the properties, of the floors and concrete tubes related to them, along the entire length of the property, in order to avoid flooding or water stagnation, is sanctioned with a fine ranging from 800-1500 lei for individuals and 1000-2500 lei for legal entities.

At the same time, we draw your attention that improper storage of waste (storage of construction materials, textiles, vegetables, manure, tires) and non-compliance with the Regulation on the establishment of measures for the management of the Mihai Eminescu commune, approved by HCL no. 26/12.03.2018, attracts a considerable increase in the tax sanitation (DOUBLE OR TRIPLE ITS VALUE)!!!

If waste is not stored selectively, its quantity will increase, and the greater the amount of waste at the commune level, the higher the price of the sanitation service will be.
