“Help yourselves!” Rednic, message for Dinamo after winning the play-out with UTA
UTA Arad is the winner of the Superleague play-out, with one stage left to play in the current season.
The Arădenians received a “goodbye” from the fans with a decisive victory over FC U Craiova, score 3-1, in the last duel that UTA played at home this season.

Mircea Rednic: “I was not supported at Dinamo!”
In the public space, there have been many comments according to which Dinamo, which is in a direct relegation place at the moment, would have “advantages” in the direct duel with UTA in the last round of this season, the dogs thus managing to save themselves in extremis and reach at least on a dam site.
Present at the flash-interview after the match with FC U Craiova, coach Mircea Rednic dismantled all these speculations. With five mandates on Dinamo’s bench, the last in the 2021/2022 season, the year in which the dogs were relegated to League 2, Rednic mentioned the fact that in his case “things did not go well” when he was preparing the team from Ștefan cel Mare.
“The team played well. The boys had attitude and ambition. The difference was seen. We came a long way, from “the team that relegates first, with 34 players”. I’m a happy coach. It’s not over yet, we want 40 points.
I see what is being said (no – about a possible result difference between UTA and Dinamo in the last stage). This is not the case with us. It didn’t go to Dinamo. It was also my fault because I chose with my soul. I am a professional. Help yourselves if you didn’t want to support me!”, was Mircea Rednic’s reaction to the flash-interview.
“We want first place in the play-out!”
“That was my goal, the first place in the play-out. I had a worse time at first. I had support from management and that gave me strength. I put my heart and I was sure that I would succeed.
We can do beautiful things here. We also have a small budget compared to others. We have demonstrated and we want to be in the play-offs. Boys are disciplined and ambitious. The workouts are modern. It can also be done with a smile on your face. The world loves me and my career has been reborn.” the technician concluded.
The crucial match for Dinamo against UTA Arad is scheduled for Sunday (May 12), from 21:30, at the Arcul de Triumf stadium in Bucharest.
