Elena Mateescu, the director of AMN, announced how the weather will evolve in Romania after these days with strong wind warnings.

After the strong wind wreaked havoc in several areas of the country, the temperatures seem to be returning to a normal rhythm specific to the summer period. Here is what the weather forecast looks like for the next few days.

“Slightly colder weather today and tomorrow in the central, northern areas of the country, where the temperature values even at this time do not exceed 15°C, while only locally in the south-west and south-east of of the country, including in the Capital, 22°C.

Tomorrow the same difference especially in these areas, while in the south-southeast already the temperatures will be slightly increasing and we are talking about 24°C again. We are approaching the threshold of a summer day, so that from Friday onwards temperatures will rise in most regions of the country, as we are talking about temperatures that will generally be between 10°C and 25°C. And this gap remains of interest until the end of this week, with small variations, depending on the area in which we are.

It is certain that the weather will be generally nice and warmer than usual throughout the country, because already, especially from Friday, temperatures will exceed 25°C. There will also be local precipitation tomorrow, especially in the north-west, north and center of the country, but, overall, the weather from a meteorological point of view will have a beautiful aspect”, said Elena Mateescu, director of the ANM, at Antena 3 CNN.
