Starting from Monday, April 8, the Piatra-Neamț City Hall, through the company Salubritas SA, will carry out the works of the disinsection program on the public domain. If until 2022, the activity was carried out twice a year, from 2023 this operation will be carried out in four stages, both on the ground and in the air, motivated by the change in climatic conditions throughout the country and premature warming. The action is necessary to reduce the density of insects that can transmit various diseases and create a state of discomfort for the population.
In the first stage, the action will take place according to the following calendar:
- April 8 – 11: Precista neighborhood (starting from Foresta area, CFR Station, Petrodava area, up to Bd. Republicii) and beach;
- April 11 – 17: 1 Mai and Mărăței neighborhoods (Privighetorii str., Piața Centrală, CFR Station area up to Bd. Republicii and Bd. Decebal);
- April 17 – 19: Dărmănești neighborhood (starting from Normal Schools, Mihai Viteazul, Aleea Tiparului, Obor, Orhei str., Dacia nord area, Petru Rareș str., up to the “Unic” shopping complex);
- April 22 – 24: Center area (bounded by Bd. Republicii, Piața Ștefan cel Mare, Cuejdi river – Bd. Decebal), Speranța and Văleni neighborhoods;
- April 24 – May 1: Thermal fog and cold fog will operate throughout the city.
Throughout the operations, substances approved by the Ministry of Health to be used in the public domain will be used, the products to combat biological vectors being included in the National Register of biocidal substances. We recommend that citizens avoid standing in the areas of action of the teams and pay extra attention to the supervision of children and pets.
