This figure significantly exceeds that of all other states by 3.5 percent, highlighting substantial challenges in healthcare accessibility within Nevada.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows 29.2 percent of adults made one or more visits to an urgent care center in 2019.

New Hampshire is the fourth worst state in providing efficient medical care, with 12.8 percent of adults reporting difficulties in receiving timely medical attention for their illnesses or injuries.

And Oregon claims the fifth spot among the states with the poorest medical care, as 12.7 percent of adults reported either sometimes or never receiving medical care in their desired timeframe.

Iowa has the shortest waiting times, with just 5.5 percent of patients reporting delays in accessing timely medical care for their illnesses or injuries. Iowa is the best state across the US for immediate healthcare needs.
