Road accident with imprisoned victim, in Zimand Cuz

A road accident in which two cars were involved occurred on Saturday on DN 79, near the town of Zimand Cuz. The military firefighters of the Arad Detachment intervened with a fire truck, an extrication truck and a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (SMURD) ambulance.



The accident resulted in two victims, one of whom was incarcerated, in a state of unconsciousness.

The firefighters acted to extract the victim from the car, after which he was taken over by the SMURD Mobile Intensive Care medical team and transported to the hospital, showing vital signs. It is about a 66-year-old woman.

The second victim, a 51-year-old man, is conscious and cooperative. He was medically evaluated at the scene, refusing transport to the hospital.

The Arad military firefighters also acted to ensure fire prevention and extinguishing measures at the event site.

IPJ ARAD: On May 4, around 10:28 a.m., the Road Service police officers were notified of a road incident.

From the first investigations, it emerged that a 66-year-old woman, while driving a car on DN 79, allegedly lost control over the direction of travel, colliding with another car, driven by a 51-year-old man.

As a result of the impact, the 66-year-old driver was injured, who was transported to the hospital.

Testing with the equipment of the 51-year-old driver indicated that he had not consumed alcohol or other substances, and biological samples will be collected from the driver.

The investigations are continued in a criminal file, drawn up for personal injury due to negligence, in order to establish the causes and circumstances of the road accident.
