The current president of the Constanţa County Council, Mihai Lupu, submitted his candidacy for a new mandate from the PUSL. He came to the County Electoral Office accompanied by the president of the County Organization of PUSL Constanța, Florentin Chiforeanu, but also by other party colleagues including Gihan Eserghep, candidate of the political formation for Constanța City Hall, former senator Gigi Chiru, Adriana Șlincu, former vice mayor of Techirghiol but also other party members.
In other news, the list of candidates for the Constanța County Council is opened by Mihai Lupu, followed by Florentin Chiforeanu, doctor Mihaela Pundiche, Constantin Nicolae, Carmen Mirela Alecu, Doia Bica, Andrei Cotârlă, Andrei Moroşanu, Cristian Mocanu, Alexandru Vieru, Nicolae Ceabuca, Mariana Mircea, Gigi Chiru, Adriana Şlincu, Florin Drăghici, Maria Ştefan, Andrei Crângaşu and other party members.
Later, the PUSL candidate for Constanţa City Hall, Gihan Eserghep, officially submitted his candidacy at the headquarters of the Constanţa Municipal Electoral Office. He said that a change is needed in the city by the sea and he is sure that he, together with his team, can change the face of the municipality.
“The main reason why I decided to run for the position of mayor of Constanţa lies in the idea of trying to bring Constanţa back to where it belongs. It must be an attractive city, both for tourists and for its inhabitants. I sincerely wish that our children no longer want to leave home and stay in the city of Constanta. To do this, we need to develop the city and the county together. The biggest problem we have in this city is the road infrastructure. I consider myself entitled to speak of this chapter and to deal with it. I will leave modesty aside and tell you that I have a degree in automotive engineering, specializing in road traffic, I have a degree in legal sciences, I have a master’s degree in public administration and I believe that if I have these qualifications obtained more time ago, I am quite entitled to speak about road traffic and let us all succeed in making this city attractive for all of us. It’s not just about me, we’re trying to be a team and prove that we have a strong team. I am referring here to the president of the county organization, Florentin Chiforeanu, and to the president of the Constanţa County Council, Mihai Lupu. We have to prove to the whole country that the city of Constanţa can become what it was. We, the inhabitants of this city, must be proud to live here. We follow the idea of facts and not the idea of words”, declared Gihan Eserghep.
