The administrator of six commercial companies from Ilfov county, specialized in selling clothes online, is being investigated for tax evasion. He would not have recorded the income, causing damage estimated at 730,000 lei.
“Today, April 3, the police officers of the Ilfov Economic Crime Investigation Service, under the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Ilfov Court, carried out 9 searches at the homes of several individuals and at the headquarters of some commercial companies, as part of a criminal case, in which conducts investigations, under the aspect of committing the crime of tax evasion and fraud”, IPJ Ilfov transmitted, on Wednesday, in a press release.
The cited source stated that the searches took place in Ilfov County (8) and Bucharest Municipality (1).
“From the research it emerged that during the period 2021-2023, a 27-year-old man, administrator of 6 commercial companies, would not have recorded in the accounting records the incomes made from the commercial operations of the sale of textile products carried out in the online environment, the damage estimated to be approximately 730,000 lei”, the quoted source said.
The man and two other people were taken to hearings, he and a woman being detained for 24 hours.
“As a result of the searches, several documents, 150,000 lei, as well as goods with a total value of approximately 300,000 lei, were seized and made unavailable, in order to continue the investigations,” the Police said.
