Competitions for the post of clerk at the courts under the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal. Conditions of participation and necessary documents.

The Alba Iulia Court of Appeal is organizing, on 25.05.2024, a competition to fill the following vacant clerk positions:

Determined period:

  • 1 clerk position with higher education at the Alba Iulia Court (temporarily vacant until January 2026);
  • 1 clerk position with higher education at the Hunedoara Court (temporarily vacant until March 2025);
  • 1 clerk post with higher education at the Avrig Court (temporarily vacant until September 2025);

Indefinite period:

  • 1 clerk post with higher education at the Mediaş Court;
  • 1 clerk position with higher education at the Deva Court;
  • 1 clerk position with higher education at the Hunedoara Court.

The competition will consist of taking two tests: one practical and one theoretical (written test) that will take place according to a schedule and in the locations that will be displayed on the court’s website, in due time.

In accordance with the provisions of the law, the persons who fulfill the the following conditions:

  • a) have Romanian citizenship, domicile in Romania and full legal capacity;
  • b) they have no criminal record, no tax record and enjoy a good reputation;
  • c) know the Romanian language;
  • d) are fit from a medical point of view to exercise the function;
  • e) have higher legal studies;
  • f) possesses knowledge of computer operation or typing.

Contests for the post of clerk: what does the application file contain

Upon registrationthe candidate will submit, according to the law, a file that will include:

a) typed-original application (will be received at the time of registration or printed from the court’s website).

In the content of the registration application, the candidate will enter in the column “the position for which he is applying” his option, namely “clerk with higher legal studies”.

The court for which you are applying will not be mentioned, as the allocation of candidates to positions will be done at the end of the competition, by expressing the option in the order resulting from the final classification table of candidates for positions with higher legal studies.

b) identity card (copy);

c) bachelor’s degree attesting to higher legal studies (copy). If the files will be sent by mail, the candidate will attach a legalized copy of the diploma certifying the completed studies.

d) criminal record certificate — original;

e) fiscal record certificate — original;

f) the characterization from the last workplace or, as the case may be, the characterization from the graduated-original educational unit;

g) the data resulting from the operative record of the judicial bodies — original; h) original curriculum vitae; i) medical certificate from which it appears expressly that he is “fit to exercise the function of clerk” – original;

j) receipt for payment of the registration fee for the competition – original;

k) declaration of agreement with the terms of personal data processing (will be received at the time of registration or printed from the court’s website).

The documents are filed at the headquarters of the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal — Human Resources Department, 1st floor, on weekdays, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The registration fee is 300 lei and will be paid at the cashier of the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal, room 108.

Candidates who wish to pay the registration fee in a different way than at the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal cashier, can do so directly to the account of the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal, observing the following details:

  • account number: RO56TREZ00220E330500XXXX.
  • beneficiary: Alba Iulia Court of Appeal.
  • unique identification code (CUI): 47372817.
  • the proof of payment is attached in the original to the file and must contain the following data: the name and surname of the candidate and the destination of the amount – clerk contest 25.05.2024.

The theme and bibliography of the competition were approved by CSM Decision no. 20/06.02.2024, attached to this announcement.

The examination of the candidates will be done by taking a practical, eliminative test, verifying knowledge of computer operation or typing, as well as a written test.

The verification of knowledge of computer operation or typing will be done by a special commission and marked with “admitted” or “rejected”.

Candidates declared admitted to the eliminative practical test, take part in the written test.

For the competition organized to fill vacant clerk positions, the written test is taken in the following subjects:

  1. criminal procedure;
  2. civil Procedure;
  3. judicial organization.

This announcement will be accompanied by an estimated calendar developed by the organizing committee, the registration application, the declaration of agreement with the terms of personal data processing, the topic, the bibliography and the Decision of the Superior Council of Magistracy no. 126/2007.
