The Cluj County Council concluded 11 new maintenance works contracts targeting 11 road sectors with a total length of 59,824 kilometers, located on nine county roads.
The works included in the Program of current and periodic maintenance works of some county roads for the year 2024 aim to improve traffic conditions, as well as to provide increased road safety.
The operations will consist of maintenance works on the road platform, ensuring water drainage and road aesthetics, but also laying asphalt carpet on certain sectors, where the situation requires it.
It is also planned to build accesses to properties, sidewalks, trenches and concrete gutters in the localities of Someșu Rece, Aghireșu and Gârbău.
“Up to this moment we have already concluded 30 maintenance works contracts. They cover, in total, 31 sectors, with a total length of over 260 kilometers, located on no less than 26 county roads. This, because we want the roads in the entire county to be in the best traffic conditions”, said Alin Tișe, president of the Cluj County Council.
The concluded contracts cover the following county roads:
- DJ 107N Someșu Rece;
- DJ 161 Sărata – border with Sălaj county, from km 41+100 to km 49+050;
- DJ 109B Cornești – Tiocu de Jos – Tiocu de Sus – Oșorhel, from km 17+100 to km 29+830;
- DJ 161B Călărași – Călărași Train Station, from km 39+377 to km 41+456;
- DJ 108N Aghireșu, from km 0+000 to km 2+000;
- DJ 108C Gârbău, from km 0+000 to km 3+300;
- DJ 108C Aghireșu, from km 10+000 to km 13+000;
- DJ 108C Răchițele – Doda Pilii, from km 53+529 to km 72+844;
- DJ 763 Doda Pilii – Ic Ponor, from km 35+375 to km 39+060;
- DJ 150 Viișoara – Bolduț, from km 8+000 to km 9+000;
- DJ 109Z Coasta – Tăușeni, from km 0+000 to km 4+765.
We remind you that, since the beginning of this year, the Cluj County Council concluded another 19 maintenance works contracts targeting 20 road sectors with a total length of 200,765 kilometers, located on 17 county roads under administration.
