The PSD candidate for the Bistrita City Hall, Gabriel Lazany took a walk through the industrial area, to see what are the problems faced by the companies and producers in the municipality. It also reached the Industrial Park, where the most basic services, such as public lighting and security, would be missing.
“They were promised security, lighting. The public lighting worked in the first week after the inauguration of the park, after which they had neither lighting nor security. They were promised a connecting road from Viișoara, to have direct access to the industrial park and not have to go all the way to Sărata…”, explained Gabriel Lazany, at Bistrițeanul Live.
The problems in the Industrial Park were also discussed at a meeting of the City Council in February, when it became clear that due to the lack of security, tenants are frequently robbed. Also then, the City Council summoned the management of the Industrial Park to solve these problems…. It seems, however, that the tenants have the same conditions.

The Industrial Park belongs to Bistrita City Hall, which invested there 25.5 million lei from European funds. Only half of the park’s surface is occupied, although the investment was completed almost 10 years ago.
According to Gabriel Lazany, there are also problems in the old industrial area. Comelful, for example, has problems with sewage, every time it rains the producer’s shelter is flooded. This is because no rainwater harvesting works have been done in the area. One of the biggest problems concerns the lack of parking spaces in the industrial area.
