On Tuesday, the policemen from Ilfov raided the house of a man who tried to sell a lethal rifle, which, by the way, he possessed illegally. A criminal case was opened in his name for non-compliance with the weapons and ammunition regime.
“Today, April 2, the police officers of the Ilfov Explosive Weapons and Dangerous Substances Service, under the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Cornetu Court, carried out a search, at the address of a man, as part of a criminal file in which investigations are being carried out under the aspect of the commission of the crime non-compliance with the arms and ammunition regime. During the search, firearms officers discovered and seized an illegally possessed, lethal, long-barreled, bullet-bearing weapon. The respective weapon was to be used by unauthorized individuals”, informs, on Tuesday, the representatives of the Ilfov County Police.
Judicial sources specified for News.ro that the warrant for the search was requested in the conditions where, through operative activities, the police found out that the man was looking for a buyer for the weapon he owned.
