The procedure for admission to the 5th grade with the teaching of a modern language of international circulation in an intensive regime was published by the School Inspectorate of the Municipality of Bucharest (ISMB). If the total number of enrolled students is greater than the number of approved places, all students take the language skills test. ISMB has published the model subject calendar and scales for the Language Proficiency Test
During the period 20-24 still takes place registration of candidates for the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of a modern language. Parents submit the application and the necessary documents for the recognition and equalization of the results, according to the calendar.
May 27-May 30, 2024 – Recognition and equalization of competences obtained at internationally recognized exams for the certification of language skills in foreign languages with the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of a modern language.
Recognition and equalization is done only if the total number of students opting for classes with intensive teaching of a language of international circulation is less than or equal to the number of places approved for this type of classes. If the total number of students opting for classes with intensive teaching of a language of international circulation is greater than the number of places approved for this type of classes, all students take the language skills test for the respective modern language.
May 31, 2024 – Displaying the results of the recognition and equalization of the results obtained in exams with international recognition
June 3, 2024 – Passing* the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of the french languagein the educational unit where the student enrolled
June 4, 2024 – Passing* the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of the spanish languagein the educational unit where the student enrolled
June 5, 2024 – Passing* the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of the Italian languagein the educational unit where the student enrolled
June 6, 2024 – Passing* the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of the english languagein the educational unit where the student enrolled
June 7, 2024 – Passing* the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of the modern German languagein the educational unit where the student enrolled
*The test is held on the same day and at the same time, with unique subjects, in all state and private secondary education units in the City of Bucharest which provided 5th grades with an intensive language teaching program in the schooling plan for the 2024-2025 school year.
June 10, 2024 – Displaying initial results to the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of a modern language of international circulation
June 11, 2024 – Submission of appeals to the written test of the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of a modern language of international circulation, at the educational unit where the student took the test
June 12, 2024 – Resolution of appeals
June 13-June 25, 2024 – Displaying the final results of the language skills test for admission to the 5th grade with an intensive study program of a modern language of international circulation
