Hoteliers promise to move the pole of fun to the Coast during the May 1st and Easter holidays

Fun, good cheer, friends and lots of sun! These are some of the perfect ingredients for this year’s May 1st and Easter mini-holiday! Tens of thousands of tourists are expected on the Romanian coast in the first week of May, with the opening of the summer season.

This year, the May 1st mini-holiday continues with the free days of the holiday dedicated to the Easter Holidays.

“The hotels and restaurants in the Mamaia resort will open their doors for tourists. Excellent weather is forecast, perfect for spring break! We welcome everyone with a series of concerts performed by beloved artists of Romanian music. We are waiting for you all at sea! Regardless of whether you choose the resort of Mamaia or the city of Constanţa, the pole of fun is here!” said George Măndilă, president of the Mamaia Constanţa Destination Management Organization.

Along with the walks on the beach, the opening of restaurants, hotels and pubs in the resort of Mamaia and in the city of Constanţa, the holidays at the seaside will be accompanied by lighting effects, exceptional scenography and musical arrangements for all tastes.

The concerts will start every evening at 19.30, both in the resort of Mamaia and in the city of Constanţa.

Apart from the concerts from May 1-6, but also during the rest of the month, the Mamaia Constanţa destination also awaits its tourists at the Festival du Bonheur, from April 30 to May 6. Here, tourists will be able to taste delicious dishes. It will be organized at the end of the Mamaia resort – the entrance from the Summerland area.

At the same time, the Sunwaves Festival will take place in the Mamaia resort between May 1-7, 2024. “Sunwaves” is a highly acclaimed electronic music festival and brings together renowned artists from the country and abroad. The exact location of the event will be announced in advance by the organizers.
