The National Meteorological Administration published on Monday an estimate of the evolution of thermal values ​​and precipitation for the next two weeks (April 29 – May 12, 2024). In the first part of the interval, temperatures will drop throughout the country. From May 2, the chances of rain increase.

The estimate was made using the numerical products of the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) in Reading, England. ANM has forecasted the maximum and minimum temperatures, averaged for each region of the country and locally adapted with statistical models, indicating the periods with the highest probability of precipitation.

Average highs will gradually drop until the start of the second week, when they will be between 17 and 20 degrees, then rise again so that the final forecast days will generally be between 20 and 24 degrees.

And in this region, the probability of rain will increase from May 2.

Transylvania

The average thermal maximum will be decreasing (6…7 degrees) until May 6, when it will reach 15…17 degrees, then it will increase, so that, at the end of the forecast interval, it will be around of 20 degrees. The average minimum temperature will be between 5 and 8 degrees in the first week and between 3 and 7 degrees in the second.

Maramures

Average highs will gradually decrease until the start of the second week when they reach 15…18 degrees, then increase so that the final forecast days will generally be between 18 and 20 degrees.

“The average minimum temperature will not vary much during the first five nights and will be between 7 and 9 degrees, in the next three it will decrease by 5 degrees, then it will gradually return to values ​​similar to those at the beginning of the interval, namely 6. .8 degrees. From May 2, the probability of rain will increase”explains ANM.

Moldavia

Until the beginning of the second week, the average thermal maximum will gradually decrease, from 21…22 to values ​​of 15…17 degrees, then it will increase, so that towards the end of the interval it will tend to 20 degrees.

“The average minimum temperature will generally vary between 6 and 10 degrees, with the lowest values ​​between May 7 and 10. Starting from May 1, the probability of rain will increase”indicates the forecast.

Dobrogea

The average thermal maximums will generally vary between 16 and 22 degrees. The average minimums will not change significantly in the first week, when it will be 10…12 degrees, but in the second, the fluctuations will be greater, between 7 and 11 degrees.

Muntenia

In the mountains

In the first week, the average thermal maximums will decrease from 12…14 degrees, up to values ​​of 5…6 degrees, and the minimums will be between 1 and 5 degrees.

“In the second week, it will gradually warm up, so by the end, the average maximum will exceed 10 degrees, and the minimum will be 1…2 degrees“, the forecast also shows.

Starting from May 1, the probability of precipitation will increase.
