A man from Vaslui died crushed by a tree he was trying to cut. The accident happened on Monday, in a forest in the town of Chițoc.
An Ambulance Service crew performed resuscitation maneuvers on the 47-year-old man, unfortunately without success.
The man’s body was transported to the Vaslui Forensic Medicine Service, in order to carry out the necropsy.
A criminal case was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of manslaughter. Investigations are being carried out to accurately establish the circumstances of the reported event and to order legal measures.
