In preparation for the agricultural campaign, the National Company Administraţia Porturilor Maritime (CN APM) SA Constanţa started, on April 12, an extensive asphalting action of the heavily trafficked roads in the Port of Constanța. On Tuesday, April 30, the works were received, which totaled 31,000 square meters of asphalted surface, on more than 20 road sectors.

“Work has started on the bridge over the Danube-Black Sea Canal, including the connections with the highway and the access gates to the port. They continued with the road between Gate 7 and Gate 9, with the portion that connects to the bridge at Gate 5, the road to the Anghel Saligny silos, access to berths 19, 43 and 44, access to the new parking lot at the root of pier 3. They also areas near Chimpex, SNC, the Technical Base passage, the ecological ramp have been asphalted.

In this approach of CN APM SA, it was considered that the roads should be prepared for the influx of trucks determined by the future agricultural campaign”, it is stated in a press release sent by the company’s representatives.

The total value of the works is 1,838,400 lei, without VAT, an amount secured from the own resources of the National Company Administraţia Porturilor Maritime SA Constanţa.
