A software company from Cluj, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, wants a turnover of half a billion lei this year, i.e. one hundred million euros.
The announcement came today, it’s about the software manufacturer AROBS from Cluj, which announces that it aims for a consolidated turnover of approximately 500 million lei in 2024. It is the largest technology company listed on the BVB and expects this year a figure of consolidated business of 494.9 million lei and a net profit of 48.8 million lei, i.e. under ten million euros.
“2023 was a year of major changes in the technology area, but also of legislative changes that had an impact on the Group’s activity in the last quarter of last year. These changes continue to put pressure on the activity of the entire IT industry in Romania in 2024. At the same time, 2023 was a year with significant pressure on the profitability of IT companies. For this reason, in 2024 we expect it to be just as intense from this perspective and, in AROBS, we are focusing on optimizing all operations”, says CFO Bogdan Ciungradi.
For comparison, in 2023 AROBS recorded a consolidated turnover of 427.3 million lei, an increase of 43% compared to 2022 and a normalized net profit of 51 million lei, down 4% compared to 2022 , amid the group integration process of the companies acquired in the last two and a half years.
AROBS Transilvania Software provides services and software solutions in various industries, in 11 locations in Romania and 9 abroad, with over 1,300 employees.
