Târgu Jiul is proud of another golden student. Mario Scurtu studies at the Ecaterina Teodoroiu National College in the municipality and won the gold medal at the National Physics Olympiad. This year, he qualified for four national Olympics. For one of them, Astrophysics, he prepared himself at home. He does not study the subject at school and was the only participant from Gorj.
Mario Scurtu is in the tenth grade at “Ecaterina Teodoroiu” and dreams of reaching NASA. With such results, admit the professors who prepare him, Mario will have a clear path to the highest peaks in research.
