The first major public engagement of the monarch has already been announced and has a special significance for him in the context of the last period. On Tuesday, King Charles and his wife, Camilla, visit a hospital and a cancer center. The King will pay tribute to the efforts made by staff on behalf of patients, families and carers.

The doctors are “optimistic” about his recovery
The monarch’s doctors consider the progress made so far “very encouraging” and remain “optimistic” about his ongoing recovery, according to a Buckingham spokesman.
Although he canceled all official public engagements after being diagnosed with a form of cancer, Charles did not abandon all official duties, continuing to honor certain select committee meetings, such as weekly meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
