The former national dirt road 7D, the current DJ 703 H, which connects the Olt Valley to Argeş county through Ţara Loviştei, will be completely asphalted.

The financing contract for this project worth about 180 million lei was signed on Wednesday at the Ministry of Development.

It was announced by the president of the Vâlcea County Council (CJ), Constantin Rădulescu.

“We are talking about works that will open Tara Loviştei to tourism, they will open Tara Loviştei to what it means for young people to return home.

The contract is fabulous and concerns the communes of Perişani, Boişoara, Titesti and Câineni.

A road that is almost 32 kilometers long will be a vital artery for the Land of Loviştei and I am grateful to God and the people because I am at the Ministry of Development and we have the contract on the table signed and prepared”.

The president CJ Vâlcea declared.

The project with funds through the “Anghel Saligny” National Investment Program aims at:

asphalting the 31.6 kilometers that the road measures,

the rehabilitation of the 11 bridges on the route,

but also the arrangement of access bridges to the properties, concrete gutters and parking lots.

A new road between Argeș and Vâlcea!

It is the objective with the highest funding value from the state budget – 119 million from the state budget.

Rădulescu specified that the next step is to tender the design and execution of the works.

The deadline for the completion of this project is three years and five months.
