“We lived plugged in all the time”

“We don’t miss London’s money and lifestyle at all. We lived as if we were always plugged in, we were stuck for hours in traffic, crowds, and we saw with our own eyes that the world around us was as stressed as we were… We don’t miss such a thing at all…”, confessed the young man, in an interview given to those from Annunțul UK.

The Romanian tells that, at first, in 2009, when he went to England, he worked as an unskilled laborer on construction sites in central London. Later, through work and responsibility, he managed to promote to management positions in a renowned company, specialized in the renovation and interior design of restaurants and offices in the central area of the British metropolis.

He had reached an impressive fortune for a Romanian settled in the UK: two houses in London, cars, company clothes, vacations and meals in top restaurants, according to jurnalemigrant.com.

“They only post fakes on social networks all Monday”

“We realized that you don’t need all this… we started to drive simple cars, to dress in clothes that are no longer visible the brand on them. Especially since no matter how much money you make, it never reaches you and you become a hamster that continuously runs on a wheel after a reality that is false…

On social networks all Monday they post only fakes, perfect pictures, perfect sunrises, perfect vacations, perfect households, … but the reality is not like that.

Just like money… it’s not real. “They” print money and you sell your time for these papers drawn at the printer which cost “them” the same ink or the same paper to give value to a 5-lire banknote or a 50-lire one…”, Andrei confesses.

“We moved to Romania primarily for the children”

Then he realized he wanted to have a different lifestyle. So he renounced all British facilities and returned to Romania, in Porumbacu de Jos, Sibiu County.

Together with his wife, he sold all his possessions and with the money he bought Angus cows and they founded Tower Farm Transylvaniaa farm that promotes BIO products and healthy eating.

“We moved to Romania primarily for the children and for a more beautiful family life. The children’s grandparents, the children’s great-grandparents and most of the family are here… Unfortunately, nowadays, the elderly Romanians die in nursing homes or die of missing their children abroad. We don’t want something like that in our family…”, Andrei explained.

“We want to grow our own vegetables, have some chickens around the house, eat home-made eggs and when we make a chicken soup it should be meat that is not injected, meat and other products from the locals as BIO or organic as possible.

Plus we have our own Angus farm and we are fighting the system to do a business selling BIO meat”, the quoted source said.
