The expropriation procedure of some buildings located on county road 102 I, which will be an alternative to National Road no. 1. The Brasov county councilors approved yesterday this procedure in order to continue the project of rehabilitation and modernization of the Doftanei Valley section, Prahova – Brădet county, Brasov county.
At the same time, the elected officials also voted on the amount of compensation.
The total area of land affected by the expropriation corridor is more than 220,000 square meters, and the total value of the land, buildings and timber for which the Braşov County Council will pay compensation is about 3 million lei, notes radiomures.ro.
This is the last step before the start of the rehabilitation and modernization works of the future road alternative to DN 1.

The section will have a length of 25.63 kilometers, of which 13.20 km are in Prahova county, and the remaining 12.43 km in Brașov county.
The county road DJ 102I is the alternative to the congestion on Valea Prahovai and should be completed in the winter of 2025.
