British media reports that Liverpool officials have reached an agreement with Feyenoord for coach Arne Slot. Aged 45, he would be Jurgen Klopp’s replacement on the technical bench of the “cormorants”.

BBC journalists say a final deal between the two sides will be reached this weekend.
The Dutch coach has already given his consent to make the move to Anfield: “I would love to go to Liverpool. Now I’m waiting to see if the two clubs will reach an agreement. I’m very confident.”
Under contract with Feyenoord, Slot will only be able to leave the Dutch group if Liverpool pay a fee in exchange for him.
The quoted source talks about a transaction value of around 9.4 million pounds (10.9 million euros).
Still at Liverpool (which he will leave at the end of the season), Jurgen Klopp recently confessed that being a manager at Liverpool is “the best job in the world”.
In 2023, Tottenham, another group from the Premier League, was also interested in Arne Slot’s services.
Born on September 17, 1978 in Bergentheim, Arne Slot played for Zwolle, NAC Breda, Sparta Rotterdam and PEC Zwolle throughout his football career.
As a coach, he has so far trained Cambuur (2016-2017), AZ Alkmaar (2019-2020) and Feyenoord (2021-present).
With Feyenoord, Slot won the title in the 2022–2023 season (16th in history), won the Dutch Cup (2023–2024) and played a Conference League final in the 2021–2022 season.
