In August 2020, a man from Alba bought his driver’s license on Facebook for 2,000 euros. Later, the man went to the Police to change his “document”.

The man sent his personal data, a picture, and the amount requested to receive a car license instead. It is about a permit imitating the documents issued by the UK authorities.

Just one month after he bought his document, he went with it to the Police. In the documents, he was indeed a truck driver, but the man had never had a license issued in Romania. More precisely, on September 18, he went to the Alba Car License Service, where he requested to have his license changed.

Almost four years after committing the crime, the man found out his punishment

After the authorities entered the data into the system, they realized that the document was fake and immediately notified the prosecutors. Therefore, he chose to file a criminal case.

Almost four years after committing the crime, the man learned his punishment from the Aiud Court.

The judges sentenced him to four months and 20 days of suspended prison for complicity in forgery. At the moment, the sentence is not final, writes Antena 3 CNN.
