“Avram Iancu” Cluj International Airport marked, on Thursday, in an official event, the launch of flights to Zurich, operated for the first time by a new airline present at the airport, Swiss International Air Lines, which connects Cluj with the tourist capital of Switzerland.

The first plane operated by Swiss International Air Lines landed at “Avram Iancu” Cluj International Airport on Thursday morning, at 9:55 a.m., the passengers being welcomed on the platform by several officials, but also by a team of cheerleaders who danced and created an atmosphere of celebration Afterwards, a press conference was held, during which the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in Romania, HE Mario Baggi, the Representative of the Swiss International Air Lines company, Monica Dobruţchi, Viorel Federiga, the President of the Board of Directors of the “Avram Iancu” International Airport spoke Cluj and David Ciceo, General Director of “Avram Iancu” Cluj International Airport. For passengers from Cluj-Napoca, we offer a variety of connecting flights from our hub in Zurich. We also offer convenient connections to Geneva, Basel, major European capitals, North America and many other destinations on our extensive route network.”
