Bucharest, March 28, 2024. For the seventh consecutive year, Kaufland Romania and the Foundation for the Development of Civil Society (FDSC) continue the In Good Condition program and announce the launch of the 2024 edition of the grant program for NGOs, for which they are allocating a total of 1 million euros in non-refundable funding.

In the last six years, the program In Stare de Bine has demonstrated that the good in each community echoes throughout society, and Kaufland Romania’s partner always comes to meet vulnerable communities with the necessary financial support. In all these years, Kaufland has contributed to the reduction of social inequalities by financing cultural, sports or activities that promote a healthy life, for the benefit of vulnerable groups or communities.

In 2024, the In Good Condition program emphasizes participatory community interventionsthe need for active involvement of communities in solving local problems and brings to the fore communities that have the courage to show all their sides, recognize their problems and look for ways to solve them.

FDSC continues this year to emphasize the need for medium-term sustainability of organizations, offering NGOs the opportunity that part of the money they request can be used for organizational consulting and related activities, in a process facilitated by FDSC experts .

It is recommended that all information found in The Applicant’s Guide on https://instaredebine.ro/ about the calendar and application process, selection and judging criteria, types of community activities and more.

For the first two calls, the selection of the winning projects will be made through a competition (pitch) within which the NGOs from the short list will be invited to present themselves initiatives in front of an evaluation committee made up of Kaufland Romania CSR committee members and FDSC members.

The third round of funding is allocated to the special call InStareSăAjut which targets a specific social priority at national or regional level, with the possibility of maintaining funding for the 2023 priority, and will be announced in the fall, with the launch of the Call.

This year we focus on the community and target projects that understand and integrate the needs of the communities in which they operate, says Katharina Scheidereiter, CSR Manager for Kaufland Romania and Moldova. More than ever, we believe in the power of the community and finance projects that improve the lives of both the direct beneficiaries and the people around them. We admire small groups of people who, when they find a problem, end up mobilizing and involving an entire community to solve it. We appreciate the joint effort resulting from the partnership of people in a community and we want through this new edition of the program In Stare de Bine to discover, build and strengthen communities that allocate time for good in Romania, reports Katharina Scheidereiter.

Project proposals for the 1/2024 call can be submitted by interested NGOs on the instaredebine.ro platform, between April 24, 2024 (9:00 a.m.) and April 26, 2024 (4:00 p.m.).
