Starting from the night of Saturday to Sunday (March 30/31), the Galați Regional Railway Branch will carry out its transport activity according to the official summer time. 3.00 will become 4.00 and Sunday becomes the shortest day of the year with only 23 hours.
According to the press office of the CFR Galați Regional, on the night of March 30/31, all passenger trains that have a departure time from the guidance stations between 3.00 and 4.00 will leave late compared to the time shown in the Train Schedule. If the departure times of these trains overlap with those of the trains between 4.00 and 5.00, the trains will set off in order of rank. Passenger trains that have a departure time from the guidance stations after 4:00 a.m. will depart and run normally, according to the information in Train Running and on the display boards in the stations.
On the route of the CF Galati Regional Branch, there are four passenger trains with departure times between 3.00 and 4.00 “old style”, after winter time, and which will start the race earlier, at 4.00 summer time (former winter time 3.00). These are Regio trains 5010 (departing at 3.25 a.m. winter time, from Buzău station, which will depart 25 minutes earlier), 7361 (departure time 3.30, from Buzău, will depart 30 minutes earlier), 7367 ( departing at winter time 3.48, from the Mărășești station, will leave at the official summer time 4.00, 48 minutes earlier) and 10348 (will leave from hm Nehoiașu at summer time 4.00, 48 minutes earlier).
Six other trains on the Galați Regional Branch line will switch to summer time on the go, on the route, as follows: train 401, when passing through hm Putna Seacă, train 1667, at Tecuci station, train 1668, when passing through hm Zoița, train 1654, when passing through Gugești station, additional train 14002, at hm Tg. Pejor and the additional train 14060, at Foltești station.
The press office of the Regional CF Galati also informs that, at the request of the operator Transferoviar Călători, some changes were made in the circulation of passenger trains on March 31.
Thus, train 10321, which runs on the route Târgu Bujor – Bârlad, is cancelled, being replaced by the additional train 14001 departing at 0.42 from Târgu Bujor and arriving at 1.52 in Bârlad.
Train 10300, on the Bârlad – Galaţi route, is canceled on March 31, with additional train 14002 running in its place, departing from Bârlad at 2:02 a.m. and arriving in Galati at 4:37 a.m.
On Sunday, the train 10340 Târgu Bujor – Galați is also cancelled, being replaced by the additional train 14060, departing at 2.31 from Târgu Bujor and arriving at 3.50 in Galați.
