Voiculescu (PSD), about the head of PNL Olt: “Gigeii” lie, deceive, promise, speculate, maneuver, put their puppets in positions

Voiculescu talks about a typology of politicians – the Giges – those people who manipulate, lie, deceive, all just to achieve their personal goals. In this case, it is the rumor about the supreme goal of the deputy Gigel Sorinel Ştirbu, that of getting another parliamentary term, the fifth.

The “gigs” in politics…

Many years ago, attending a political congress, I heard from a colleague (what irony!) the following statement:

“Aren’t you tired of the gigeis and miseis in the party?

Aren’t you tired of their games and antics?

They are the gangrene that infects the party!”

I understood, after years, that the “giges” are represented by that type of politicians for whom there is nothing but the achievement of personal goals. And if in order to achieve this goal it is necessary to put his manipulative talent and questionable character to the test, he does not back down. That’s why the “gigs” lie, cheat, promise, speculate, manipulate, put their tricks in positions… Anything, so that it’s good, not bad. For them!

About electoral commitments and commitments… the manual from which they learned the art of political manipulation does not write anything. And if it doesn’t write, the attitude doesn’t provide either: I ignore on the line. Because for their purpose, a tortured 10% is enough. Not for the party, not for the team, not for the people.

Last but not least, in no case does it matter to the “giges” that they themselves, with their purpose well hidden behind the party logo, destroy everything that others have built with difficulty!

I admit that I caught my colleague’s idea about the “gigs” in politics a little late, but it’s never too late!

Since August 2023, chaos and instability have taken over PNL Olt, with the direct support of deputy Gigel Sorinel Ştirbu. It all started with the appointment of his man, Mario De Mezzo, as prefect of Olt, at the beginning of August. Changes also followed at the level of some agencies – ANL, ISCIR, but also at the School Inspectorate, the Environmental Guard and Finance.

The “moves” were made only to weaken the power of Liviu Voiculescu, former president of PNL Olt. He resigned, and Gigel Sorinel Ştirbu was appointed interim president

Later, he was elected president following an election conference where he ran alone.

All the effort is for Gigel Sorinel Ştirbu to get another deputy mandate, the fifth.
