The police from Olt carry out 47 searches in a case of tax evasion and illegal obtaining of funds, and the damage in this case is estimated at two million lei.

The representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Olt Court announced, on Wednesday, that 47 house searches took place, two of which at the offices of legal entities in Olt County, as part of a criminal case aimed at committing the crimes of tax evasion, illegal obtaining of funds, forgery in documents under private signature and use of forgery, in the field of food trade.

“In fact, from the research carried out in the case, it emerged that during the period 2019 – 2022, the administrator of a commercial company from Găneasa commune, would have registered fictitious apprenticeship contracts in the accounting records of the company, with the aim of illegally obtaining , funds from the state budget. The investigations target three natural persons and one legal person”, stated the prosecutors.

The estimated damage in the case is approximately 2,000,000 lei.
