The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announces that construction associations from Romania, Spain, Bulgaria and Ukraine have submitted bids for the resumption of work on the Cernica Passage and the widening of a sector of the Bucharest Ring Road to four lanes.
The five associations are:

– Association CONI SRL (leader) – GOTT STASSE SEL – PERFECT CONSULT EUROPE SRL – INFRA EXPERT AD (Romania – Bulgaria)
– Association PRECON TRANSILVANIA SRL (leader) – SELINA SRL – IBB-HIB ROMANIA SRL (Romania)
– Association ROMAIR CONSULTING SRL (leader) – OYL COMPANY HOLDING AG SRL – OPR ASFALT SRL – OBRAS PUBLICAS Y REGADIOS SA (Romania – Spain)
– Association CONCELEX SRL (leader) – X-WAY INFRASTRUCTURE SRL – BOG’ART SRL – AUTOMAGISTRAL PIVDEN SRL (Romania – Ukraine)
Pistol specifies that the estimated value of the contract is more than 458 million lei (without VAT), and the source of financing will be provided from Non-Reimbursable European Funds.
The duration of the contract is 24 months, of which 6 months are the design period and 18 months are the duration of the execution of the works.
Among other things, the contract aims to widen the Bucharest Beltway to 4 lanes over a length of approximately 11 km, build a 400-meter passage over DJ301 at Cernica, build a road passage over the Bucharest-Constanța railway, approximately 124 meters, but also the construction of a road crossing over the Bucharest – Oltenița railway, approximately 105 meters long.
