The Ukrainian Minister of the Interior, Ihor Klymenko, said that at least two people were killed and 14 were injured in the attack that took place on the night of Thursday to Friday. Three other people are missing, according to Sky News.
“All our services are now involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack. We use robotic equipment in dangerous areas to minimize injury to rescuers,” explained Klymenko.
Ukraine was targeted by a massive attack launched by the Russians. 151 missiles and drones targeted different targets. The Ukrainians announce that the air force shot down 92 missiles and drones during the night attack.
“The world sees the targets of Russian terrorists as clearly as possible: power plants and power lines, a hydroelectric dam, ordinary residential buildings, even a trolleybus,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
During the attack, Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric dam, located in the Zaporizhia region, was also hit. The damage is significant, but there is no danger of collapse, the Ukrainians announce. A massive fire broke out following the impact.
