The policemen of the Bucharest Organized Crime Brigade, together with the DIICOT – Central Structure prosecutors, have once again conducted searches in the famous case of brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate.
They had descendants both in Bucharest and Ilfov, but also in Prahova, where the two apparently own one of the most imposing villas in the town of Comarnic.
The villa targeted by the searches organized on Thursday was bought in 2021 by a private company behind which brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate are said to be, sources close to the investigation claim. Until the time of this transaction, the building was used by the managers of the ceramic products factory Vulturul Comarnic and was considered a house of protocol.
Sources from the Comarnic town hall stated that the villa, which is divided into three apartments, was used for years by the directors who ran the previously mentioned factory. In recent years it has undergone a renovation process and is currently one of the most luxurious properties in the city.
It is located at the same time very close to the DN1, not even 200 meters away, but still in an isolated area. The building is hidden from the eyes of the world and looks more like a fortress, the property is bordered by a high concrete wall, and access to the villa can be done directly through the garage, neighbors say. The same sources claim that a big New Year’s Eve party was going to take place in the villa in Comarnic, only that the event was cancelled, given that Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested at the end of last year, on December 30, 2022 to be exact.

It is not clear what was the reason why the police decided to search this building as well. Neighbors claim they have never seen the two Englishmen, nor have they heard of any sexual orgies or lavish parties taking place in the building now checked by the police.
What is certain is that on Thursday morning, the policemen who descended on Comarnic first stopped at the town hall to check if the building targeted for searches belonged to the company managed by the two brothers. Only after receiving confirmation from the local authorities did they continue the investigation. In that area is a neighborhood of villas where businessmen and politicians have holiday homes.
Thursday’s searches in Comarnic are taking place in the continuation of investigations in the case regarding the commission of the crimes of constituting an organized criminal group, human trafficking and rape, DIICOT said in a press release.
The investigation in this case started on December 29, 2022, when DIICOT organized an operative action, in a criminal case, in which investigations were carried out for the offenses of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking and rape.
The four suspected persons (two British citizens – brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate – and two young Romanians) allegedly constituted an organized criminal group, for the purpose of recruitment, accommodation and exploitation, by forcing some women to create materials with pornographic content, intended for dissemination for a fee on profile sites. From these activities, he would have obtained significant amounts of money.
The injured persons were allegedly recruited by British nationals by misrepresenting their intention to enter into a marriage/cohabitation relationship and the existence of genuine feelings of love (the loverboy method).
They would have been later transported and housed in buildings in Ilfov county where, by exercising acts of physical violence and mental coercion (through intimidation, constant surveillance, control and invoking alleged debts), they would have been sexually exploited by group members by forcing to pornographic manifestations in order to produce and disseminate through social media platforms material having such a character and by submitting to the execution of a work, in a forced manner, in order to obtain important financial benefits, consisting of the sums of money obtained as a result of accessing materials by users, DIICOT prosecutors accuse.
Six injured people who were sexually exploited by the organized crime group have been identified.
With regard to the crime of rape, it was noted that, in March 2022, an injured person was forced, on two different occasions, by a person through the exercise of physical violence and psychological pressure to have sexual relations.
In the first stage of the searches related to this file, 11 luxury cars were discovered, owned or used by the suspected persons.
