Accommodation prices during Untold 2024 are already ridiculously high

The Untold 2024 festival will take place this year from August 8-12, 2024. Every year the prices for accommodation in Cluj-Napoca have been extremely high, but this year it seems that there is no limit anymore. Some rental property owners seem downright bent on getting four days’ worth of rent for a year’s worth of rentals.

Thus, for the period August 8-14, 2024, an apartment ended up costing no less than 38,000 leithe equivalent of approx 7600 euros. This is the money that an owner who rents an apartment for a year at a considerable amount of around 630 euros per month usually gets. The apartment has 40 square meters, a bathroom, a kitchen and a bedroom, and is located 3.7 km from the center of Cluj-Napoca.

The highlight is that, although the price is exorbitant, the apartment is occupied from last night until morning, for the period of the festival, and is no longer available for booking.

On the opposite pole, the cheapest apartment, if we can say so during the festival, is on “offer” and costs 2592 lei, but there are few at the price of less than 3000 lei for four nights.
