VIDEO Antena 3 allocated generous, laudatory space for Gabriela Firea on the first day of Easter, although Dan Voiculescu’s party has Piedone/Pandele as its candidate for Bucharest Mayor, messages for “friend Piedone” and “successful young man” Burduja

Gabriela Firea, the PSD candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, received a generous space on the first day of Easter at Antena 3, a 25-minute report in prime time, on May 5. The television ran titles such as “Gabriela Firea, confessions on the day of celebration”, “At home with Gabriela Firea, preparations for Easter and the day of the little one” or “Gabriela Firea, moved by her husband’s declaration of love”.

The Antenelor Trust is founded and de facto owned by former Security guard Dan Voiculescu, who is also the founder of the Social-Liberal Humanist Party (PUSL), whose candidate for the Capital City Hall is Cristian Popescu Piedone.

Antena 3 filmed Gabriela Firea and her husband, Florentin Pandele, holding hands, talking about children and grandchildren, talking extensively about religion and faith, and Pandele made cascading declarations of love to the former mayor general.

A romantic chamber song with piano chords played in the background of the show, while Gabriela Firea talked about “the key to a happy marriage”, but also about how she will never leave home again on Easter because she left once before and “take looked very sorry”:

• “We were sorry to leave Romania. As it is with us, it is nowhere. Our traditions, but primarily religion and services, people on Resurrection night. Nowhere is like here. Florin and I have decided never to leave at Easter again. Let’s never spoil the miracle of this holiday and let’s always be at home together”, said Gabriela Firea at one point.

The two spouses also talked about the birthday of the family’s eldest son, Zian, which was filmed at the beginning of the interview.

Towards the end of the dialogue, Firea started talking about politics and projects, about what a mayor does in a mandate, about “concrete ideas, solutions for what we have to do”.

Pandele said at one point that the moderator had provoked the opening of the dialogue about politics and that he would not have wanted to talk about it, then he reiterated the idea that he did not agree with Gabriela Firea running for Bucharest City Hall again.

Pandele also said that the former mayor told him to stop turning into his “spokesman” and to talk about politics only in his own right.

Pandele then spoke about “my friend Piedone” and conveyed success to the “successful young man Burduja”, but also to Nicușor Dan.
