The Festival of Creation and Arts, the first edition in Cluj

More than 50 craftsmen, artists, local creators, from all over Romania, whose production method is completely sustainable, meet on May 17-19, in Cluj-Napoca. Ethnographic Park “Romulus Vuia” will host the first edition of the event “Iarmaroc la Sat: Festival of Creation and Arts”. Visitors will be able to admire how local creators create products for daily use, as well as art objects.

The festival is a cultural project organized following the merger between IARMAROC and the Association for Artistic Innovation, with the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration. The festival will take place in a natural setting designed to reconstruct the atmosphere of the classic Romanian village, but which has been adapted to our present needs . “IARMAROC la Sat” campaigns against mass consumption, unsustainable production and the consumption of
unhealthy food.

The event program also includes live concerts and vinyl DJs, sculpture, painting and photography exhibitions, film screenings, theater for adults and children, creative workshops and
art, kid and puppy activities, horseback riding, and more. At the same time, the participants will be able to buy handicraft products, created here in the country.

Festival organizers say they have prepared diverse activities for visitors and for all ages, with more than fifty stands of producers from all over the country, to fully acoustic concerts and art, creation and sustainability workshops.

The price of an entrance ticket is 30 lei for a single day and 45 lei for all 3 days of the festival. Tickets can be purchased here or at the event entrance.
