The Sibiu City Hall announced that starting this spring, the Sibiu Zoo has six new residents, among which two white wolves.
The Sibiu Zoo received as a donation two white wolves, a male and a female aged 2 and 3, from Nyíregyháza Zoo in Hungary. Among the garden’s new inhabitants is an Oryx gazelle, as well as a 10-year-old male named Uva. Uva and Brunello, a 10-year-old brown bear, arrived in Sibiu from Târgu Mureș Zoo, following an exchange.
“The new residents have adapted perfectly to us, joining the 317 friends from 83 species, older residents of the Garden,” Sibiu City Hall said via a post on the institution’s Facebook page.

The Zoo is open according to a special schedule on the Easter holidays, so that entrance through the main gate is between 9:30 and 19:30, and through gate 2, from Valea Aurie, between 10:00 and 19:00.
