The end of the week comes with new fuel prices. At the pump, standard gasoline is more expensive today by 4 pennies per liter. In contrast, the price of standard diesel remains unchanged.
Fuel price April 25. Gasoline more expensive at the pump
The price of standard gasoline increased by approximately four pennies per liter compared to the previous day. Thus, a liter of standard gasoline can be found at the pump at prices between 7.39 and 7.49 lei.
At the same time, the prices of premium gasoline, standard diesel, premium diesel and LPG remained unchanged compared to those displayed at the pump the previous day.

After the new changes, a liter of premium gasoline costs between 7.9 and 8.14 lei. At the same time, a liter of standard diesel can be found at gas station pumps at prices between 7.44 and 7.53 lei.
Currently, a liter of premium diesel costs between 7.8 and 8.04 lei, and a liter of LPG costs 3.49 lei.
Gasoline more expensive at the pump
The price for this type of fuel is increasing compared to the previous day. At the same time, the price for a liter of standard diesel remained unchanged.
The main oil producing countries in the European Union, in 2022, were Italy, Denmark and Romania, according to Eurostat. Although oil prices rose significantly due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, EU crude oil production continued to fall. In 2022, our country produced over 3 million tons of fuel.
However, oil production in the European Union reached a historic low in 2022. In that year, around 16.3 million tons of fuel were produced, down 7.4% compared to 2021. Also, the percentage was 61% from the 2004 peak of 41.8 million tonnes.
In the year 2022, oil production recorded decreases in Italy, Denmark and Romania decreased significantly. However, EU refineries saw an overall increase in the production of petroleum products.
