Mihai Enache, the AUR candidate for the Capital City Hall, asks Gabriela Firea to stop the “two-sided” political game and withdraw from the PSD-PNL list for the European Parliament elections.

“From reporter to moderator and TV presenter, from “than politician, better housewife” to spokeswoman, today Gabriela Firea can’t decide if she wants to be mayor of Bucharest or member of the European Parliament. Because at this moment he is one of the names thrown on the market by the PSD as a candidate for the General City Hall, but he is still on the list of candidates for the European Parliament elections, it is natural for him to choose and give up one of them, or both, if he would he had the decency to leave the scene after the revelations regarding the “asylums of horror”, says Enache on Wednesday, in a press statement.

According to Enache, Firea should follow his example, in the context in which he himself gave up his candidacy for the European Parliament on the AUR list in order to focus on the one from the Capital City Hall.

The PSD will validate, next week, in the statutory forums, the candidacy of Gabriela Firea for the Capital City Hall, the leader of the party, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, said on Tuesday. Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, PSD president, said on Tuesday that the decision for PSD and PNL to go with their own candidates to the Capital City Hall was “difficult”, but it is the right solution and he stated that Gabriela Firea is the best choice for the citizens of Bucharest “I want less spectacle, but more solutions to the daily problems they face”.
