On Sunday, the Dutch team PSV Eindhoven beat the Sparta Rotterdam team 4-2 at home, and mathematically became the champion of the Netherlands.

Sparta Rotterdam opened the scoring in Eindhoven through Metinho, in the 8th minute, from Said Bakari’s pass. Unfortunately for the guests, the same Bakari also brought the equalizer, scoring in his own goal, in the 19th minute. After seven minutes, the hosts took the lead, through Johan Bakayoko’s goal, but Olivier Boscagli also sent the ball into his own goal and at halftime it was 2-2. The score remained equal until the 67th minute, when Boscagli redeemed his mistake and gave PSV the advantage. Jordan Teze set the final score in the 78th minute and Peter Bosz’s team prevailed 4-2, winning the Eredivisie title, the first after a six-year hiatus.

PSV is on the first place of the ranking, with 87 points from 32 stages played. The red-white team clearly dominated the season in Holland, winning the 25th title in history with authority. He has the most goals scored (107), the fewest conceded (19), the most wins (28), the fewest defeats (1) and the fewest draws (3).

The students of Peter Bosz, also on the first title of his career, lost the only match of this season only in the 27th stage, in Nijmegen, with NEC, score 1-3. The decisive player of the new champions is captain Luuk de Jong, who is the leader in the scorers’ ranking, with 27 successes, but also in the decisive assists, with 18.
