“The weather will be relatively warm, today, with thermal values slightly above the averages of the period”, announces the Transilvania Sud Sibiu Meteorological Center in today’s forecast.
“Isolated light rains will be reported, which will also have a downpour character, and in the high mountain areas there will also be mixed precipitation. The wind will generally blow moderately during the day, with temporary gusts that will reach and exceed 50-60 km/h, and in the mountains 70-80 km/h in the high area and will significantly weaken in intensity during the night. The maximum temperatures will fall between 17 and 19 degrees, and the minimum between 5 and 7 degrees”, the forecast states.
Yesterday, at 08:00, the snow layer measured 140 cm on the mountain at Bâlea Lac, and only patches were present at Păltiniș.
In the municipality of Sibiu today it will be between 5 and 17 degrees Celsius, in Dumbrăveni, between 6 and 18 degrees, in Păltiniș, between 2 and 11 degrees Celsius, and in Bâlea Lac, between -1 and 2 degrees Celsius.
