An urgent appeal has been issued by Police Scotland to help trace a missing 12-year-old girl.

Maddison Faulds was last seen in the Glasgow area around 5pm on Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

Inspector Halliday-Grainger said: “Concerns are growing for Maddison’s welfare and we are appealing for the public’s help to trace her.

“I would appeal to anyone who has seen Maddison or who has any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.

“I would also appeal to Maddison herself, please make contact with the police. You are not in any trouble. We just want to make sure you are safe.”

Maddison is described as being around 5ft 2in in height, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black jacket, a red jumper, black leggings and black Sketchers trainers when last seen.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3633 of 27 March, 2024.
