On Thursday, the government approved the technical-economic indicators for the high-speed route between Craiova and Târgu Jiu (110.1 km), announced the Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu.
“The construction of a new high-speed road has secured financing! The high-speed route between Craiova and Târgu Jiu (110.1 km) will consist of two sections with different profiles (established based on road traffic values). In order to be the tender was started and subsequently the construction was today approved by the Government, the technical and economic indicators both for the Craiova – Filiași section (51.5 km), which will have a highway profile, and for the Filiași – Târgu Jiu section (58.6 km ), which will have an express road profile”, the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
Both objectives are provided for in the 2021-2030 Investment Program, and a total amount of 16.53 billion lei (including VAT) is allocated for their implementation, writes Agerpres.
The construction of this high-speed road, which passes through Dolj and Gorj counties, is financed by the Transport Program (PT) 2021-2027, the minister emphasized.
