Four students arrived at the hospital in February of this year, with minor injuries, after the ceiling of the Secondary School in Loamneş fell on them. Shortly after the event, the mayor spoke about the incident claiming that the current, but also the pigeons, were to blame for what happened.

“There was no problem at school. Most likely due to the wind and the open windows, a draft was created and a plasterboard floor came off. The school is indeed in a rehabilitation project. There were no problems with the ceiling. Probably, as I was telling you, there was a current vacuum and the floor came off. Colleagues called 112 and SMURD came. The incident happened during a break, when the children were entering classes. One little girl said her back hurt and another little girl said her head hurt from the floor falling. It was a big scare”, said the mayor of the Loamneș commune, Maria Greavu, oradesibiu.ro writes.
