Moscow must hand over to Kiev the data on the Russian soldiers on board the Il-76 plane that crashed in the Belgorod region, according to the statement of the Directorate of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, RADOR RADIO ROMANIA notes.

The text notes that the UN has not been able to establish the circumstances of the accident, because it is impossible to investigate the incident with the usual methods for the UN, due to the lack of access to data and materials. At the same time, the high number of human victims underlines the need for an impartial investigation, the Directorate said, and demanded the immediate handing over of all data to the Ukrainian authorities. As Rosbalt informs, the Il-76 crashed on January 24 in the Belgorod region.

According to the Ministry of Defense data, there were 65 Ukrainian servicemen, six crew members and three flight attendants on board. There are no survivors. According to the data of the cited department, the plane was shot down from Ukrainian territory.
