Serious accident in Dolj: Two cars collided heavily, and one caught fire. One woman died, five other people were injured

A serious road accident took place on Thursday in Dolj county, where two cars collided and one caught fire. As a result of the impact, one person died and five others were injured and are being transported to the hospital.

The representatives of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Dolj announced that the firefighters were requested to intervene after the occurrence of a road accident in Bucovăţ commune, in which two cars were involved.

A water and foam truck, an extrication truck, a SMURD ambulance and a SAJ crew went there.

Following the accident, a car caught fire.

The firefighters specified that six people were involved in the road accident. Unfortunately, for one of them, a 35-year-old woman, nothing could be done.

The other five people were transported to the hospital.
