In the case regarding offensive, slanderous behavior and statements that affect the image of football, Becali was framed under article 52, point 2, paragraph B of the Disciplinary Regulation, which provides that “for each subsequent violation, the sanction applied to the official will be established by doubling the previously applied sanction, and the club to which this person belongs will be sanctioned with the deduction of 3 points from those obtained in the championship in which the higher category team participates“.

“Pursuant to art. 52/2/b of the RD, the defendant Becali George is sanctioned with a suspension of 6 (six) months and a penalty of 50,000 lei“, it is mentioned in the solution published on the FRF website.

In the last case, the FCSB boss was included in the article of the Disciplinary Regulation that sanctions “acting in a manner intended to influence the progress and/or the result of a match or a competition, through behavior contrary to the statutory stipulations of the FRF, in order to obtain an advantage for himself or a third party“.

“Pursuant to art. 12, 14 Bis and 15 related to art. 60 Encore of 1 – 2a of the RD of the FRF, the defendant Becali George is sanctioned with a Warning and a penalty of 10,000 lei“, it is mentioned in the solution published on the cited website.

The Disciplinary Commission emphasizes that in accordance with the provisions of art. 45/1 of the RD of the FRF, Gigi Becali will execute the sanction for the most serious disciplinary offense, suspension of 6 months and a penalty of 50,000 lei, and the FCSB will execute the sports penalty of 5,000 lei, notes Agerpres.
