Andrea Compagno, a former FCSB player who reached the Chinese Championship at Jinmen Tiger, has enjoyed an excellent half-season in the Asian Championship.

The Italian, transferred by Gigi Becali from FC U Craiova in exchange for the sum of 1,500,000 euros, had a message for his former teammates, as well as for his former boss, after they prevailed in the Superliga and won the championship title Romania.

Gigi Becali from China collected 120,000 euros for Andrea Compagno. The Italian striker has not forgotten his unpleasant experience at FCSB, especially the misunderstandings with the owner of FCSB.

Andrea Compagno: “The most important person at FCSB didn’t like me”

“I am very happy, I think that after the months of November-December we understood that we will be champions because this year there was no competition. And last year we were very good, but there was a better team than us, with very good football, Farul, but this year I don’t think he could fight with FCSB. He dominated from the first minute to the last. I’m happy for the fans and for the whole city.

I’m in China now, the guys did everything. This change for me was mandatory because everyone knows how the situation went. It was a very good year and a half for me, it was very important to change because the most important person in the FCSB club didn’t like me and I said that I don’t stay there for nothing, it’s better to change”said Andrea Compagno, at sport.ro

Compagno is on a roll in the Chinese championship. The Italian scored five times in six games, since his transfer to Jinmen Tiger, a team from the Chinese first league.
